Problem

Unable to answer my mobile phone in time before it goes to message bank or voicemail

Solution

To extend the amount of time your mobile phone will ring before going to message bank or voicemail

 

Enter **61* then your message bank access number ie 321 for Optus 101 for Telstra, and then add **30# and then press call or send (as if calling a number)

 

The code you enter should look something like this:
**61*321**30# (Optus)

**61*101**30# (Telstra)

This should extend the ring time out to 30 secs. If not you will need to contact your provider and ask them to extend it further.
